Yard Fees

 

Yard Fees (also known as Boarding Fees) are a fee applied to every Used Vehicle added to Stock to protect Margin.

 

In this version of Magix there is the ability to have the system automatically create an ‘Actual Conditioning’ entry for Yard Fees and process it directly to the GL.

 

This happens automatically when a Used Vehicle is added to stock unless the ‘Action/Wholesale’ flag is ticked.

 

 

A Yard Fee is also automatically reversed if the vehicle is sold as a ‘Wholesale’. This happens during the ‘Sale Process’.
