V12.4.01 - Service Recommendations

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Recommendations component of Service Invoicing has been revamped.

 

 

Typing R when adding a line will now present this dialog box.

 

•      Use … to select the Recommendation type.

 

•      Use the +6 Months and +12 Months button to enter a Due Date.

 

•      Use the Text box to write further details about the recommendation.

 

•      You can add more than one recommendation line if you wish.

 

 

Recommendation Type Table.

 

This table is found in Service-System-Control File-Recommendation Types. Magix comes preloaded with the Types you see below. You are able to add more if you need to.

 

 

•      Must Enter Due Date, if this is ticked the Due Date in the Recommendation entry screen is mandatory.

 

•      Print Reminder, if this is ticked Magix will include the reminder in the Service Letters process if you are using Post Cards.

 

 

Use Service-Reports-Recommendations to produce a list of Recommendations made on Invoices.
