Magix Plus Stock Taking with Data Collector
Process
1. In Magix create product file.
2. On the data collector, delete the existing product file and load the new product file.
3. On the data collector, perform stock take.
4. On the data collector, transfer the stock take file back to the PC.
5. In Magix ‘Import Data from Collector’.
1. Create product file. Click on the Data Collector Icon.
The menu will change, run option 2 Create Parts Product File. Magix will create the product file and export it to the local PC and will warn of any duplicate bar codes.
2. Import to Magix product file to PDX Transfer. Click on PDX Transfer – Tools – Import.
3. On the data collector, start PDX Collector, Start-Programs-PDF Collector, then select option to ‘Delete Product File’ and ‘Receive Product File.
4. Before starting a new stock take, on the PDX collector click ‘Delete Data’.
5. Perform Stock take, on PDX Collector – Start Stock Take.
6. When stock take finished – on PDX Collector – Send Data.
7. In Magix click on Import Data from Collector. Once this has completed go back to the collector and ‘Delete Data’.
